Terravista Vineyards - Albariño 2025

Terravista Vineyards - Albariño 2025

Terravista Vineyards are producers of small-lot specialty white wines, including Spanish varietals, located on the Naramata Bench in BC’s Okanagan Valley.

Terravista is working to learn from their vineyards and their land the most sustainable way to grow grapes and produce wine. They are adding alternative energy sources, reducing consumption, and minimizing interventions in the vineyard as much as possible by doing manual canopy management, manual hedging and weeding, livestock integration–all with the aim of reducing the use of pesticides and herbicides.

They farm three vineyards: Lone Hand Ranch, planted with Albariño and Verdejo in 2008. The till sediments, orientation, and stony soils result in aromatic whites with crisp acidity. En Terre is the future home for their Syrah. An acre of Pinot Noir was planted in 2019. The silt loam soils are very well suited for these red wines. Naramata Outlook, established in 2021, spans roughly 6 acres of planted vines sloping towards the cliffs that frame Okanagan Lake. Spanish varietals, Albariño and Verdejo were planted here, alongside Garnacha and Mencia (a first here in Canada). Marsanne was planted also for their Figaro wine.
