Sea Star - Salish Sea 2025
Sea Star Vineyards has as its goal to produce exquisite wines that express the terroir of our Gulf Island home. As they work to be certified as a B Corporation, Sea Star Vineyards makes all its business decisions by considering their impact on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. They primary commitment is towards sustainability.
Listed as one of the 9 Wineries to Visit Before You Die by Sip Magazine, Spring 2019, Sea Star Vineyards and Winery is nestled within the forest of picturesque Pender Island.
The 26-acre terraced vineyard stretches to the summit of Mount Menzies and bathes in the whales’ breath of the Salish Sea. Within this idyllic setting, you may be lucky enough to spot their resident “lawn mowers,” four baby doll sheep, wandering between rows of Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Ortega, Marechal Foch, Schonburger, and Siegerrebe grapes.
Here, and at their vineyards nearby at Clam Bay, Sea Star Vineyards grow varietals for their award-winning signature estate wines, including the consistently recognized Blanc de Noir and Ortega.
