Domaine Zinck - Crémant d'Alsace Brut

Domaine Zinck - Crémant d'Alsace Brut

Domaine Zinck was created by Paul Zinck in 1964 just few kilometres away from Colmar, in Eguishein. Philippe, his son, took over the family estate in 1997 and tripled its size to 14 hectares located on different fields between Eguisheim and Gueberschwihr, in Alsace.

While remaining attached to the values of a family model and organic agriculture, he has succeeded in creating a subtle balance between the traditional methods of craftsmanship and the contribution of new techniques and technologies. Domaine Zinck practices biodynamic farming, becoming certified in 2021.

The goal of the Domaine Zinck is to produce wines that are authentic and express their soils. Organic and biodynamic farming are essential for preserving the health of the soil, and for allowing its natural characteristics to be expressed in the wine.

Harvest and vinification are done manually. Gentle pneumatic presses are used to preserve the delicacy of flavour of the fruit. Vinification takes places in either steel or wood, depending on the wine line. Bottling is done with great care at the Domaine Zinck.
